Our Program

Our Program Overview

Anew is a mental health treatment center for adults and families with complex psychiatric disorders, that offers a broad range of treatment levels to meet the needs of a wide variety of mental health challenges and conditions.

The Anew Treatment Center has carefully designed a structured and stage-based model of care that supports the entire evolution of healing and growth. A cornerstone of our program is the training and support to acquire the health- and self-management, practical, relational, and daily living skills necessary for sustainable change, starting from the beginning phases of treatment all the way through to the transition into post-treatment life.

Our primary treatment approach is a unique and modernized therapeutic community model that integrates attachment theory, trauma-informed perspectives, somatic-based approaches, and narrative therapy, in addition to the time-tested milieu model and established evidence-based practices.

Our residential support services range from licensed (non-locked) mental health homes with 24/7 staff and nursing support, to transitional living houses with individually tailored staff support available, to independent program-assisted housing, to outpatient full-independence living. Within our supportive and structured therapeutic milieu, numerous therapeutic services are available and designed to be tailored to each unique individual and family.

Our range of services include intensive individual, group, and family psychotherapy, psychiatric and medication management support, co-occurring disorder curriculum, social and independent living skills training, nutrition and physical wellness support, academic and vocational guidance, and many other supportive and adjunctive services to best build a comprehensive and well-rounded treatment plan.
